Lujiazui Qiantan Leisure park

The project is located in the Qiantan Recreation Park in the southern extension of the Huangpu River, with the east side close to Qiantan Avenue. DUTS design created the concept of “City in the sky, Mirror of the ground”. The original three buildings are organically combined with air corridors to create a kids paradise covering all ages from 0 to 14 years, including Restaurants, Library and books , creative markets, outdoor playground, etc. 

Combining the natural conditions along the Huangpu River, the designers took advantage of natural wind direction and the relationship between the site to create the ecological natural texture of the space, creating rich landscape topographical changes, and maximizing the line of sight along the river.
