A Hotel Chongqing

A Hotel Chongqing is located in Jiangbei District, Chongqing, close to Cuntan Cruise Terminal. Chongqing is the second city where DUTS Design has participated in the A Hotel series, and the design team aims to bring an elegant and modern urban business travel experience to this bustling mountain city.

The hotel lobby, inspired by the concept of "Fireworks in the Clouds", integrates delicacy into every detail. Its textured copper walls, inlaid with vintage emerald green that exudes a warm, gem-like luster, embody the former delicacy and romance of this mountain city.

The lobby lounge has been reimagined as the "Cloud Theater": through the symmetrical echo of giant screen projections and mirrored floors, it becomes an immersive theater showcasing Chongqing's lifestyle, realizing the coexistence of humanity and technology. With the screen as clouds, the mirrors as water, and light and shadow as mist, guests can feel the pulse of the mountain city within this intimate space.

The material used for the upper part of the restaurant draws inspiration from Chongqing's traditional stilted buildings. Through artistic abstraction and combined with a vintage modern style, it creates a "World of Warmth" that features Chongqing's unique charm. The hotel rooms are accented with elements of Chongqing's distinctive culture and integrated with the latest "smart home" scenarios, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury and providing guests with serene retreats.

Here, the past and future converge in the present. The elegant lifestyle with Ba-Yu regional charm is unfolding in this city of mountains and rivers.
